Planished and polished aluminium bee garden ornament. Introduced in 2017 to compliment the existing garden collection. The bee stands approximately 1m tall on an aluminium stick to allow it to sway in the wind. Keep it out all year as it weathers very well.
Introduced in 2024, the “Mottled” effect bee is a new, hand made process which allows me to make a little quicker and resulting in a lower price. The “mottled” effect finish is still as bright as the other, hand planished type. Buy 3 and receive a 20% reduction.
Getting the best from your product
To get the best from your product will ensure many years of enjoyment following these simple steps.
Installation.
Hold the rod at the bottom with two hands, bend your knees keeping your back straight and push the rod into the ground. (If you were to push from the top you could risk bending the rod. If the rod does get bent it can be straightened with a little patience.)
Push into the ground sufficiently to allow good grounding
The angle can be changed by locally bending the rod toward the top. This takes a little force so pliers could be used.
Maintenance
You will find the shine lasts a long time but will get dirty. If you desire you can clean with soapy water and a soft cloth. Do not use anything abrasive as scratches could occur. Polishing is possible with a metal polish but will not be required frequently (once a year or two if necessary)
